Welcome!

At the summit of  Mount Elbert (14,440 ft) in Colorado (2016)

Hi! I graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with my bachelors in Geology in May 2018. I have a passion for geology research, the outdoors and photography. My research has spanned across multiple, diverse fields in the Earth (and Martian) sciences. I've enjoyed representing LSU and presenting my work at conferences around the country -- Geaux Tigers! I recently completed working as a research assistant at LSU characterizing serpentine rocks I helped collect from Sri Lanka in August 2018.

I began my PhD research in geology at LSU in August 2019 working with Dr. Sophie Warny. My project integrates biostratigraphy with geochemistry and organic petrography to reconstruct the paleoclimate and paleodepositional environments of an Eocene aged deltaic system (link). Additionally, I will evaluate the hydrocarbon yield potential of the system. Please look around my website at my past projects and presentations, my CV for details on my work, or contact me if you have any questions. Feel free to connect on LinkedIn
